Excuse me! I'm working for a better future, which happens to involve
the total extinction of the human race, albeit not the death of any
individual human per se.
I would say that these people are not Extropians - they are "noble
Entropians", people who believe in a greater goal that simply happens to
be the exact diametric opposite of mine. As long as they conduct
themselves with misguided altruism, I see no problem in their being the
honorable enemy or the loyal opposition.
