Nobody knows about cryonics, and I frankly don't trust it to preserve my
soul, being a Penrosian noncomputationalist. I sincerely doubt that the
average human would turn down immortality.
My ethical system says that as a student of the Singularity, I have to
accept responsibility for piloting humanity safely home, and that's all
of humanity. If you want to be irresponsible, that's your decision.
Mine is that every unnecessary death is my personal fault for not
thinking fast enough.
