Greet! Celebrate reanimation! I've already decided to give science and
information gifts for Newtonmas. Reanimation on Easter sounds perfect.
In the US, Thanksgiving is coming up. Does anyone have an anecdote of an
Extropian thanks?
The one holiday I'd suggest not being appropriated would be Independence
Day (Cinco de Mayo, Bastille Day, Independence Day (for whoever). Because
the extropian Independence Day still lies in the future. (IMHO)
My extropian thanks goes out to Timothy Leary, his writing from the 70's,
LSD, Robert Anton Wilson, PK Dick, Crowley, SF Authors, Korzybski, B.
Fuller, the history of scientific thought, iconoclasts, Andy Kaufman, Max
More, the people on this list, etc, etc.
