The extropians archive indexes, whether by date, thread or subject are
relatively large (300 k) linear files. This is extremely inconvenient
(make that unusable) for low-bandwidth access, e.g. transatlantic.
While this means noticeable amounts of work, why not adopting the CryoNet
archive layout?

The archives are maintained by Keith Lynch. It might be a good idea to
ask him for script suite sources he's administrating the site with.
