Natasha,
>While you are expending your life experiences, you are not living here and
> you are writing about your love of other cultures
I have chapters written about many cultures, *including* the U.S.
No, I'm not living there at this moment, but I was born and raised
in the U.S., and lived there for 37 years. That's what I mean by
feeling sidelined. I would hope that those years counts for some
baseline knowledge.
You are way wrong to think that I'm putting down the U.S. Natasha.
I am disappointed and discouraged that you are seeing it that way,
and moreover presenting the list where criticism of a government
should be frowned upon. I wouldn't waste my typing fingers and
time like this if I wasn't truly concerned. It's a sign that I
care alot that I'm writing about it at all.

Yes, a breather. Like I said I was only poking my nose in this
group very briefly.
