If researchers find the USA so vile an environment to work in, by all means
they should avoid us like the plague. On the other hand we can provide some
useful opportunities for those who can (apparently) hold their noses and work
here. Alternatively, there is nothing wrong, in a nation of 280 people, to
cultivate its own technical know-how. Not such a bad idea.
