Could be. Checking the table in Hofstede, I find that the
countries with the lowest power distance are Schweiz, Finland,
Norway, Sweden, Ireland, New Zeeland, Denmark, Israel and Austria
- all fairly small countries. But just one point above them lies
Great Britain and Germany. There seem to be even less correlation
between the femininity scale and size.
I don't really know; this is a complex issue.
