Very well put, Mike. I withdraw my fervent rebuke in the interests of
sanity and lowered bandwidth consumption for all. :)
I admit that my complaint is quite petty in nature, considering I am
one of the "significant minority" of 24/7 broadband users.
On a more thoughtful note, I wonder if any studies have been done of
online news sources for the amount of bandwidth they use for content
vs. advertising. I searched Google for a bit, but wasn't able to come
up with anything relevant. I'd be interested if anyone has any
resources on this topic.
