I can't speak for Chris here, but his amazement seemed more directed at
his article being listed in the syllabus -- not that the cultural
scourge known as Eminem is being discussed worldwide.
Also, his closing words in the post were: "This cyber medium never
ceases to amaze me." Somehow, I find that hard to parse into
stereotyping all Turks.
Finally, to my knowledge, Chris is not an Extropian or a transhumanist.
I was only passing along his article since I thought it would be of
interest to Extropians and transhumans, particularly since Eminem has
been the topic of an ongoing thread since the release of his movie "8
Mile."
