The latest scam. Calcium is calcium. The best sources are dairy products and cruciferous vegetables (dark green stuff like broccoli, kale, spinach). It really depresses me that so many otherwise rational Extropians are so ready to waste hard-earned money on worthless supplements when good nutrition with real scientific backing is as easy and cheap as your local supermarket produce section.

I am going to have to investigate Coral calcium and get back to the list on what I learn. My friend who told me about it had sure swallowed their claims hook, line and sinker! lol
While I agree getting nutrition from one's food is the best way to do things, I would not say the fruits and vegetables at the local grocery store are so wonderful considering the claim that overfarmed soil tends to become depleted of it's nutrients. You could wind up not getting the nutrition you thought you were guaranteed with fresh food. Any thoughts from the list on this subject?
best wishes,
John
