Hi Doug,

Both on the cryo list and more recently on the extro list I've noticed your
reports for a while now. Whilst its good to know that the spirit of do it
yourself science is alive and well (at least I imagine you doing this stuff
at home in the garage) I wonder if you could either recap or point at an old
post that outlines your experimental rationale.

Are you selecting generations for each test from offspring from previous
runs (sort of classical mendelian selection)? Your currently at run #70.
Have you tested nutrients, temperature, starvation-diet etc on longevity in
previous iterations? Are you aiming at identifying a hit list of factors
that in combination maximise lifespan (then perhaps gene assaying (at some
time in the future) the best group against the control group)?. Are you
using Drosophila Melanogaster?

Regards,
Brett
