I am very relieved to hear you are going to be alright! It still might be nice to know exactly what type of asbestos you were exposed to.

Have you considered only driving a dirt bike offroad to get your "motorcycle riding fix" which seems so important to you? I think that might be much safer than zipping around a big city full of crazy drivers while you are painfully vulnerable to the two-ton or more machines surrounding you.

In my extended family when my mother was in her twenties, a cousin was killed in a horrific motorcycle accident. Since that time there is a sort of "unofficial family ban" on riding them.

Spike, I just don't want us to lose you! I really mean that my friend. As strange as it seems "the good do seem to die young!" If you can just live safely for the next two or three decades, you will probably be out of the danger zone for a nightmarish accident(due to our current technology) which could break Shelley's heart forever.

I know I went for the heartstrings with the last remark, but I do REALLY care.

your friend,

John
