Anyone who tries to use the issuance of a patent or the acquisition
of venture capital as evidence of credibility is immediately suspect.
Any idiot can get a patent on anything, and even in these post-dotcom
days, venture capital is still controlled by people who are susceptible
to a good sales pitch and don't understand much physics. They may well
have something here, but the fact that they try to use such tactics in
the press releases should raise red flags.
