The first functional fruits of a little project I've been working on:

I already have some ideas for further development, but those will have
to await me having more "free" time: I don't yet even have all the
hardware that's shown here working properly. But I do want to use this
as a test bed for playing with various mobile computing concepts ...
"down the road", so to speak. Anyone interested might reply here or
off-list (do note that I *am* using an MS XP system, so I expect I'll
get flamed by the cognoscenti).
