Actually, since being blond is recessive and not a strong disadvantage
it is very unlikely to vanish even if we do our best to intermingle our
genomes. I guess the only thing that will really get rid of the gene
would be if we for some reason got rid of hair altogether (to fit in
with the 50's concepts of bald-headed superhumans?). But in the diverse
future we envision, I guess the biggest risk is simply that the
naturally blond gene gets lost among all the other new and weird hair
colors. Is that a primordial blond, an ultraviolet blond or someone with
chromophores?
As for my project of raising the IQ of blond people, I'm still working
on my current test subject (myself). So far there has unfortunately been
little evidence for higher intelligence...
