WiFi is a marketing/branding term, so probably. I imagine they'll call it
WiFi 2 or WiFi NT or WiFi Plus or something. Current WiFi stuff can go out
to 12 km if you're prepared to spring for a large base station, but I'd
expect the first 54Mb/s architecture to be your standard 300m range.
