I did do some websearching after all. I found nothing suggesting that Papa
Bush didn't raise taxes. I did find an article at Media Watch claiming Darman
was trying to shift blame for the affair, and an article at
http://www.mskousen.com/Speeches/gwbush.html
where Dubya seems to admit up front that his father raised taxes, calling the
decision the biggest mistake of his father's career. Last I checked, Dubya
was not a member of the DNC.
