Samatha opined:
Give me a break! The argument is simple enough for a 10 year
old to understand. It doesn't take party vetted sources to make
the general arugment. And it is quite well known that we
manipulated the hell out of the Iranian government structure at
least thrice. Just what is it that you find unbelievable about
this?>>
Because the Iraqi governement states that 500K children have perished because
of the boycott, doesn't axiomatically make it so. This is especially so with
a regime that was and is intent on lifting the 91 embargo with having to obey
any of the chief requirements, that included removal of "coalition" forces
from Iraqi soil. This is the same propaganda that was used in the Jenin
"massacre" back in April 2002. There apparently was no evidence of a
massacre, but of a battle.
<<Look the the empire you are sitting inside of that is currently
threatening unilateral action against any sovereign state it
feels like changing before you miss the point, again. There is
no consistent, militarily effective, Moslem superpower breathing
down the world's neck. There is only US. Think hard about
that. You also might think about the region's only nuclear
armed power that also broadly ignores the UN and is quite
warlike, namely Israel.>>
There does seem to be, however, a fair amount of reporting going on that
indicates, Iranian, Lybian (aha! an Arab land), politicians aquring and
improving the capabilities of the No-Dong series of IRBM and ICBM solid fuel
rocket. (I like the name of that missle, despite the threat!) Iran has also
been interested in developing a submarine capability (don't tell anyone, ok?)
You may verify this by a peeky-see at Jane Defense Weekly.

Of course, all this info, could be incorrect, in a wag-the-dog sense of it.
Yet, the greatest deception, in my opinion, is the propaganda that the
Wahabbi controlled Saudis are just oil-peddling nice guys. They and their
governement-funded Maddrasses, world-wide, and rather then do some democratic
change in that totalitarian theocracy, the Wahabbis have channeled the demand
for social reform into America hating Madrasses; which so far has seemed to
work splendidly.
As for your feelings about Israel, have at them (us) Jews, Samantha! But I
find it curious that those nice Jihaddis, appear to have trouble getting
along on that playground, called planet Earth.
In Nigeria, where "adulterous" women get buried up to their necks and have
rocks pelted until death, the long arm of Sharia is felt. This is true even
unto the Ebo, Christian north of Nigeria. In Indonesia, those nasty
Christians will get their come-uppence, from those brave Jihaddi rioters
(pogromers rather then programmers) and slay those unbelievers. Same is true
in the decapitation-happy Southern Philipines, where the Jihad is making its
mark there also. In the Paki-Indian border, America's brave nuclear armed
ally, Pakistan, helps ignite vengence against the savage Hindu, by
threatening a nuclear war. And then there is that curious incident, last
september in NYC, DC, and Pennsylvania, ah but that is so last week!
