No. Last night Fischer spoke before the UN and repeated the German position. Next sunday
we have federal elections. Of course you must take this into consideration: when a
chancellor wants to be reelected and 80 % percent of his people are against a support of
an Iraq invasion, he cannot take a different view in the public. But who knows what's
going on behind the scenes and what might be changed when the election was won?
