The winning numbers for the New York Lottery on 9/11 were 9-1-1
I don't know what to think about this. My first reaction - creepy! Then I
figured there must have been some foul play (like it was tampered with or
fixed or something). But when I really thought about it, I wasn't so sure.

the numbers (needed some kind of proof because I didn't believe it):

My friend who told me about this thinks "a large number of people
thinking about one thing can influence the probability of an outcome"
& cites a similar case with the crash of flight 587 & the NJ lottery :

I guess it possible, but for some reason I can't seem to accept this
explanation. I'm stumped - what is this all about?
