A Sunflower's Lament
To the left,
upside down
I look for the sun,
it cannot be found.
To the right,
back and fro,
I look for the sun
and still no show!
Looking up,
looking back,
oh, my twisty stem
says: "try a different tack"!
OK. Standing tall,
petals outstretched,
sinking my roots
with patience for my quest
