You can get Ralph Merkle to speak, you can in a *very*
small group get Robert Freitas to speak. You can without
too much trouble get me to speak (and sometimes have
difficulty getting me to stop speaking...). But *very* rarely
does Eric speak.

It is a comment by Eric on Wolfram's CA model. I've added
a couple of cents worth of context to the discussion. As I
indicated, I don't think it is possible to evaluate the
comments/perspectives without several months of study.
Being aware of the differences of opinion is about the
best I can hope to offer at this time (at least from
my frame of reference).
