Tucson isn't bad, but there are a number of other cities I'd rather live
in as a matter of practicality. I do like the Patagonia highland area
around Sonoita very much though, about 45 minutes southeast of Tucson;
it is one of those forgotten gorgeous American backwaters. Arizona
actually has a few very livable areas that I wouldn't mind living in at
all, but Tucson isn't terribly high on my list despite the fact that I
visit that area about once a year.
