Interesting thoughts. Not all that new, though. For example there is a
1959 novel by Fred Hoyle (The black cloud) about space life.

I have much doupt about an evolutionary path to molecule based, "real"
life to exist for environments below the freezing point of H2O, though.
For life based on organic molecules in the outer regions of the solar
system to evolve it'd at least take some volcanic activites or some
other ways to create a suitable regime.
