SECURITY: Kazaa hacked by worm

Don't anybody ever tell me I didn't tell you so.

Slashdot is reporting that the Kazaa network has been
hit by its first worm virus:
  http://slashdot.org/article.pl?sid=02/05/20/2022243

Now if this had been an amoral seed AI we could all
be sitting in deep doo-doo right about now (constrained
only by the unknown knowledge as to whether the current
net bandwidth could support a transhuman AI).

So you don't think our computers and stupid human behaviors
can eliminate our chance of surviving the singularity?
Just watch.

I'll hope one or two of you survive the meltdown so we
can huddle in our little bunker and swap stories about where
we were when the shit hit the fan.

Robert
