I second this! And now that you're back, I am fully expecting at least two great posts a day to the list! : )
An Anders story... While surfing the web I came upon a fantastic website which really enthralled me. It was a beautifully fleshed out far-future science fiction setting which was designed to be adapted for a multitude of creative uses. Inspired by both the graphics and text, I planned to share with the extrolist my incredible find!! As an afterthought before leaving the site, I decided to quickly glance over the site creator's page. And who did I find there do you ask..., ANDERS SANDBERG!!! I had in essence discovered the "new world" only to find Andersville there with flags fluttering in the wind! Orion's Arm was new to me, but obviously old news to many. lol
Now, when I come upon some cool new thing which might delight extrolist members, I quickly check to see if Anders was behind it! I have this strange feeling at some point in the distant future my posthuman self will find some fantastic cosmic phenomena while on a deep space journey, only to discover it's simply part of the Anders Sandberg M-brain system!! And so I will forget about sending a tachyon beam to the nearest communications node to report my finding to the list...
best wishes,
John : )
