Reagan ended up on the receiving end of heaps of abuse
for saying trees emit pollutants. And yet anyone who
suffers from allergies is well aware how severely trees
and shubs pollute the air.

I just got back from a 3 day motorcycle tour up thru
Northern Taxifornia, the redwood forests and such.
The pollen count was high enough for me to ponder
why we tolerate these remorseless polluters.

Skunks and many other animals intentionally
produce chemical pollutants. Shall we exterminate them?
Ruminants fart massive amounts of greenhouse-gas
methane, not just the farm cattle but the wild elk
and mooses (meese?). Shall we tolerate this? spike
