Sorry, Mike, but Samantha wins this one. Such "nitpicking" is
essential when discussing public policy--you wouldn't let a
legislator who demonstrated a profound ignorance of guns get away
with saying something stupid about them, because you know his
ignorance would lead to bad law. Likewise, when you demonstrate
a clear ignorance about drugs (and this isn't the first time you've
done that), we have every reason not to take your opinion on the
matter seriously. Policies (public and private) should be based
on a clear understanding of the facts involved, otherwise you're
just descending to emotional reaction as she does so often.
