>From that letter - "The United States strives to provide freedom for their
people. Do we really have personal Freedom? I've lived here for many years,
and I see much limitation. Does the definition of freedom include
limitation? I've learned about the history of various civilizations in
history, and I see more and more limitation. Do you people enjoy this trend
of limitation? If not,
change it!"

This letter just entirely irritates me, not just because this guy is hurting
people, but because he is justifying on such a horrificly incorrect
assumption, that the world is getting worse and worse off. Without getting
into a 'state of the world' rant, I just want to point out that this guy is
bitching that the US has limitations on freedoms. Yeah, theres some racism,
theres (maybe) a gender wage gap, theres high taxes, theres pressure to
conform, bla bla bla, but how many people has the US government starved to
death? How many of its own citizens has it murdered? Lets see, the number
for non-democratic government murders is around 170 million and counting
this century, what the hell history has this guy been studying? Must be
post modern liberal relativists historical revisionists sources. Stalin?
10 million murdered, Hitler 6 million murdered, Pol Pot 3.5 million
murdered, Mao 30 million murdered, cmon! US, wage gap and racism. Hardly
comparable! There is a clear trend that the more democratic a nation is the
fewer murders its government commits. Ok, climbing off soap box now.
