Can you say in one sentence what is Victor Davis Hanson's
criticism? I've not read that book ("Carnage and Culture"),
but I've read the controversial reviews. The reviews turned
me off it.
C.&C. is a book of a very different topic than the Hanson book
that I did read: "Who Killed Homer?" (classics / Ancient Greece
is Hanson's specialty).
