I think that's going too far, both axions and dark matter are just
theoretical
possibilities, neither has been detected in the lab.

You wouldn't want to do such a thing. The big crunch would be great because
that would mean infinite energy was available and that would mean infinite
computation was available and that would mean infinite subjective time
was available.
