The harsh reality of environment change and species extinction. Those

Based on recent stats, I estimate to 1 out of 30 the users of NS 4.x.
Consequently, web designers don't make it a priority anymore to fiddle
with correct code just to adapt to NS 4.x bugs and incomplete
implementation of standards.
I just tried to connect with w3m (command line UNIX web browser), and
it works fine. Believe it or not, you can login, browse the forums,
login, etc., with an understandable and usable interface. (Not that I
would advise doing that. But I see that YaBB claims to be HTML 4.01
compliant, and it may even be true.)
