Sure, everybody here remembers all the pictures on T.V. of Israeli
artillery lobbying shells randomly all over the West Bank and
Gaza...

Absolute utter nonsense...

Israelis targets are always related to the act involved, in the one
apartment attack I remember recently, the Israelis fired a missile
into an apartment building specifically targeting the home of an
attacker. The message: enemies of Israel are not safe anywhere. I
never saw a more surgical strike.

As regards attacks on the Palestinians if they use a shell it comes
from a tank, which as anyone with military experience can tell you
is completely different from an artillery shell.

The Israelis routinely use guided missiles, but they are known to
use artillery in Lebanon. (where they battle the Syrian army)

It is the terrorists (Palestinians) who use mortars and unguided
rockets.

The current Israeli sweep through the West Bank is using an
absolute minimum of heavy armor and is house to house in hostile
neighborhoods, yet the civilian causalities are by far the lowest
ever for such an operation. As anyone with military experience can
tell you this is usually where the highest rate of civilian
causalities occur.
