Hi folks,
For the first time in 6 years, I woke up to no spam in my email box.
This is a minor victory for me, as spam had reached levels of
80 per day, and during travels, it was hopelessly choking my ability
to use my own domain for email. (Perhaps solutions are obvious to
you techno-whizkids, but I needed to go through a trial-and-error
to discover it).
The solution to removing spam (if you have access to the Unix shell
for your email) is procmail plus spambouncer. The spambouncer
people provide excellent tutorials for how to set up the two, even for
people like me who are not Unix wizards.
