A first draft of a new paper, "A Transhumanist Perspective on Genetic
Enhancements". It's an attempt to begin developing an ethical framework for
public policy regarding genetic enhancements and, particularly, human
germ-line genetic engineering. The target audience is professional
ethicists. (Many of the ethical issues about genesis-choices - i.e. choices
involving the creation of new persons - are independent of the particular
technology used, so the genetic case can be used as an example for a more
general class of problems.)
