Please leave the creation of a transhumanist "religion" to David Pizer and Mike Perry! ; ) lol!
I greatly respect Max More's integrity for not turning his ideas for an ExI into another California new age cult. Max does alright, but is not a rich man, and he could have been had he gone down that road. If Rael or L. Ron Hubbard could build extremely successful money making organizations, I sure know Max and Natasha could have.
But could Max and Natasha have lived with themselves when having sold out in such a way? I admit having mansions all over th globe would be nice, with a Gulfstream jet to go along with it, but could it salve a bothered conscience?
I can imagine us one day finding an alternate reality out there with an "evil" Max and Natasha who have done these very things! But what will the good Max and Natasha do then?
best wishes,
John
