I was running my e-mail through outlook express (5) on my Gateway (Windows
98). I now have a new Dell (Windows XP-Outlook Express 6) and have imported
all of my system settings (including my email client). I find that when I
copy and paste text from a webpage the html code is sustained into my email,
and get this, when I copy paste from the webpage into notepad (that doesn't
even use html) my spacing and rows are changed when I copy and paste back
into my email document (I was trying to use notepad as a middleman). My
settings are exactly the same as my old computer, meaning, under tools,
option, and send, I have plain text selected for both options. Any help
would be appreciated. Thank you.
