There was a radio-show from the 1950's, which had a chicken-heart experiment,
in which unlimited growth ended up covereing large parts of the earth. I
suspect it had a happy ending (Col Saunders showed up?). Perhaps less a
chance to grow food then an express use for tissue engineering?
