I was having thoughts along the same line. The report did state that
the bodies were in a 'crypt'. Whether this is purely metaphorical or if
indeed they are in an actual crypt. (not sure if there really is a
difference). surely, if they crypt were underground, they can be considered
buried ?.
I am sure that the french government wouldn't have a leg to stand on
if they argued that bodies could not be frozen. Do they ensure that bodies in
'normal stone crypts dont freeze in winter ?.
I think if the worst happens in this case, Good old blighty is just
accross the water. Over here you can get burried in a bin bag, next to the
roadside.
