Then tell the customer base to go out and get your own rights of
way, lay your own fiber, and build your own switching centers.
There's nothing stopping you or anyone else. Except maybe the
ridiculous costs and regulations involved.
Why should the rules of business be different for the RBOC's then
for everybody else?
We are tired of having the federal guns pointed at our heads. No
other business in this country is forced to subsidize their so-
called competition (in reality parasites.)
When you've got a hundred or so parasites you don't start eating
extra meals, you go on a strict diet and starve them out.
Fiber under current federal regulation will not yield market
approved ROI. Simple business decision.
