then, having your hands free would you mind doing
field testing to settle this? Record your mood, or
whatever it is you think alters lights *before* you
leave, then record the average wait time per light.
Make an arbitrary scaling for your mood, graph it and
see what happens. If there's a distinct positive
correllation it will be sufficient to prove that you
are truly a modern scientist...willing to fabricate
data to fit the curve.
