I normally get several versions of the news from different sources,
T.V, cable and various Internet sources, and yesterday even a
newspaper (Chicago Sun-Times). I also saw the story that now he
claims he never knew anything about it.
But in no case was the notion of the statue being modified or
removed ever mentioned, and in at least one case it was mentioned
that the curtains were merely being installed rather than being
tacked up on occasion. I believe that came from the paper.
