I've never heard one but I once saw a meteor in the daytime, it was about 1 PM and
I thought a airliner was going down in flames. The next day I read in the newspapers
it was a meteor. If it had been at night it would have light up the sky and probably been
scary as hell. It didn't happen during any known meteor shower, makes you think.
