But how does it appear? To a large extent cortex is cortex, and one part
can do the same job as any other part, suitably innervated. It seems it
is composed of repetitions of some general computational module, a kind
of squishy computronium. Is the language areas learned, just as higher
order visual areas self-organise because they get input from lower level
areas, or are there any special affordances for the language areas?
