Ha, well, even when I was in far better shape (say, right after boot
camp), I couldn't stand the size of normal coach seats. I do have broad
shoulders no matter what shape I'm in, and it actually seemed worse back
then as well: my feet would swell and my head felt like someone was
hugging it tightly. I especially hated having a seat near the back of
the cabin, the 'not driving this thing' agitation is worst in those
seats on takeoff, as the long tubular cabin ahead of you rotates upward
and you accelerate.
