I don't have any stats. I do know that this happens every year in South
Florida. During New Year's celebrations, many people shoot guns in the air
as noise-makers in Miami. Every year people are hit by raining gunfire.
Sometimes they are killed. We have annual public service announcements
before the holiday trying to convince people not to use their guns as
celebration toys.
