ObBrag: I liked it myself, when I coined it in 1992 as an epigraph to my
book about parapsychology, THE LOTTO EFFECT, beneath a citation of Clarke's
Law and cited as Broderick's Corollary. (But that ought to have been
`Conjecture', I now think).
