Considering that there will be (already is) a call for changing
the fundamental network protocols to make tracking and
enforcement easier and considering that there is a global push
to make such regulations from any country enforceable from all,
I think the above is much too much optimistic. There will be no
jurisdictions not subject if the very net is severely enough
clamped down upon unless we build and alternate net. There will
be no anonymity if anonymous transmissions and decent encryption
becomes illegal. The show cases will chill out the ISPs leaving
most without a means to publish their dissenting opinions and
act on them in cyberspace. Their troops already wage an all-out
war on US citizens, the War on Drugs. Wake up!
