We pronounce it Lorr-e.
We're scottish, Clan Gordon, though I was aware that in the time of the
Scottish Queen Mary, she had brought a number of french troops to
Scotland to assist in its defense (she having been married to the King
of France), and wondered if there might have been some intermarriage.
