Depends on what you are after... if you want to
experience sex as a woman, then not yet.

If what you are looking for is to experience social
interactions as a woman... well you CAN do that
experiment, but it's success would depend on the
amount of effort you put into it and your acting
ability.

That was part of the plot of "Tootsie".

If you are interested in experiencing the emotional
and mental changes caused by an estrogen dominate
endocrine system as opposed to a testosterone one, you
CAN do that experiment relatively safely and cheaply.
The biggest dangers are the likelihood of sterility if
you persist in the experiment too long (3-6 months
seems safe) and the chance of irreversible
gynecomastia.

When there is a relatively fast, fully reversible
method of accomplishing a sex change, I think there
will be many people that will try it just out of
curiosity.
